<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of displaying a number of images to enhance glancing properties, and simultaneously displaying the feature portion of each image in an easily visible way to enhance visibility. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device displaying the plurality of the images includes a read-out means which reads out the image data from a memory means, an extraction means which extracts the feature portion from the original image shown by the image data, a creation means which creates the display image by deforming the original image based on the extracted feature portion, and a display control method which controls the display of the display image to a display means. The creation means deforms the original image in such a manner that the ratio occupied in the feature portion in the entire part thereof grows relatively large, thereby creating the display image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
