The present invention provides an apparatus (10) for producing and/or pro cessing panels, comprising a transporting arrangement for transporting a pan el along a transporting path and a processing arrangement (12) for processin g the panel as it is moved by the transporting arrangement, wherein the tran sporting arrangement has a plurality of positioning devices (32) which are s paced apart one behind the other along the transporting path and each compri se a top and bottom abutment means (34, 36) which are spaced apart opposite one another on both sides of a panel plane (P), and also has an adjusting de vice (38) which can adjust the spacing (h) between the two abutment means (3 4, 36), it being possible for the adjusting devices (38) of at least two pos itioning devices (12) to be actuated simultaneously by means of a common act uating arrangement (40).
