PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle map display capable of knowing a map element existing in a scrolled side of a map. SOLUTION: One portion of a sea 22 is assumed to come within a voice output range 32, as a result moved to a left direction with respect to a display range 31, by scrolling the map toward the right direction. The sea 22 is recognized as the objective map element for a voice output to output a voice as to the sea, when the such situation is brought during the scroll of the map. The voice output as to the sea 22 is stopped when the one portion of the sea 22 comes within the display range 31 with the further continuous scroll. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
