The invention relates to a clamping device ( 1 a) for a traction mechanism ( 2 a). The clamping device ( 1 a) is connected via a spring means ( 11 a) to an actuating lever ( 10 a) which can be adjusted between two end positions. The actuating lever ( 10 a) can be adjusted automatically by means of an actuator ( 18 ) in conjunction with a controller ( 20 ).
