PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker under a situation that the modularization of vehicular components is advanced, solving a problem that abnormal sound is generated by the deformation and breakage of the vibration plate when another component contacts with a vibration plate front surface opening portion or a vibration plate rear opening portion which are largely open at the time of moving, and having a structure for protecting a vibration plate of the speaker; and a vehicular interior element assembled with the speaker. SOLUTION: In the speaker, of the front surface and rear surface opening portions 65, 66 of the vibration plate, holes which are not more than 5mm at the longest portion are arranged at at least the rear surface opening portion 66. A protecting cover 68 having a opening rate of 35% to 75% is formed on a frame 61. The speaker and a vehicular module component assembled with the speaker can prevent the deformation and breakage of the vibration plate, so that the performance of the speaker can be kept, and the efficiency of man-hour for assembling a vehicle can be increased.
