PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and method capable of changing a tone in a series of image processing jobs with the adjustment of an image processing condition. SOLUTION: A DC controller 2002 detects the timing of adjusting the image forming condition from the number of the output times of images, the number of the forming times of the images, a continuous stationary time, an environmental change, etc., in a printer engine part and informs a reader controller 106 of the timing. The reader controller 106 instructs the DC controller 2002 to adjust the image processing condition, after image forming jobs during execution and interruption are completed, when they are present, but not permits the new interruption of the image forming job, until the adjustment of the image processing condition is completed. |
