PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering material, when being covered on a base material, so as to form a structure, hardly causing the thermal fatigue stress corrosion cracking of the structure and deterioration in the base material while maintaining excellent peeling resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The covering material has a composition comprising, by mass, 0.01 to 20% Cr,≤5% Fe,≤4% Cu,≤4% Mo, 1.5 to 5% Si, 1 to 4.5% B,≤1% Co, 0.01 to 1.1% C and 1 to 10% Nb and/or Ti, and the balance Ni with inevitable impurities.
