PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying control method capable of controlling highly accurate carrying without depending on the medium width in a direction perpendicular to the carrying direction, and a recording device and liquid injection device capable of controlling the carrying control method. SOLUTION: A control part 200 of the carrying control method calculates a correction value of the carrying amount, based on the width of the medium in the direction perpendicular to the carrying direction. That is, a ratio of a difference between the width of the medium to be carried and the maximum width of the medium with respect to predetermined length is calculated, and a product of this ratio and a correction ratio of the width of the medium per predetermined length is calculated. In addition, a sum of this product and the maximum correction value of the carrying amount of the media is calculated, to determine the correction value of the carrying amount. Therefore, since the difference of the carrying amount of the media caused by the difference of the width of media in the direction perpendicular to the carrying direction is directly corrected, highly accurate carrying can be performed.
