PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure response time related to write to a disk. SOLUTION: A disk management apparatus 100 copies data that a driver 150 recorded into a data buffer 120 into I/O buffers 130 and 140, and then writes the data recorded in the I/O buffers 130 and 140 into disks 210 and 220 respectively. If the data write into either of the disks is normally completed or a specified time elapses, the disk management apparatus 100 notifies an application processing part 110 of the write result.
