PURPOSE:To prevent accidents due to electric leak and make it easy to remove the front plate by guiding the rainwater which invades from the engagement section of the claw of the front plate and the notch section in the front face near an electric power box to the position where there is no inconvenience in receiving rainwater by a water receiving section. CONSTITUTION:On the upper end of the front face 1 on the main body A of an outdoor unit, a claw 6 is provided for the engagement with the notch section of an outer box 2, and the lower end is fixed to a base plate 4. Further, below the notch section a dish-shaped water receiving section 7 and trough section 8 to guide the water in the section 7 to below an electric power box 3 are provided. Accordingly, when the front plate 1 is removed during the maintenance and inspection, the lower section of the front plate 1 can be easily removed from the base plate 4, utilizing the elasticity of the claw, and the operation to remove the front plate 1 can be effected smoothly because at specified places the engagement of the claw and notch section are provided. Further, the rainwater which invades from the engagement section of the claw 6 and notch section is received by the water receiving section 7 and guided by a guide section 8a to a position on the base plate 4 whereto the rainwater can drop down through the trough section 8 without inconvenience. |
