PURPOSE: To provide a fast lens, less in glaringness and excellent in light diffusivity, by causing a matrix made of a synthetic resin to contain a light diffusing agent composed of polymer particles. CONSTITUTION: A light diffusing agent is contained in a matrix made of a synthetic resin. Preferably, particles of organic polymer compounds are used as the light diffusing agent because of their moderate light transmissivity and excellent light diffusivity, and specifically, alkyl(meta)acrylate resins, styrene resins, vinyl carboxilate, and the like can be mentioned. Spherical particles having an average particle size of 0.1 to 500μm are used as the light diffusing agent. The light diffusing agent particles are mixed in the synthetic resin matrix by 0.1 to 40 wt.%. The height of this lens is normally 0.5 to 3 mm where light transmissivity is 86% or more.
