At least two radial washing pipes are rotatable located around a vertical axis, which are fed with water via a pipe link, being set in rotation by the back thrust force of the outflowing water. The washing pipes (10,11) each have spray nozzles (14,15) at their radial outer ends. The spray nozzle (14) of at least one washing pipe is directed outwards at an angle, and the end section of at least one further washing pipe is bent downwards through virtually 180 deg., whereby the spray nozzle (15) is directed radially inwards. The non-rotatable part of the pipe link with its inlet side downwards is fitted on a frame (5) over the central sump (3) of the rain basin and is connected to a pump, which sucks rain water out of the sump (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - A simple cleaning device for a rainwater basin, occasioning comparatively low investment costs.
