<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starter for a car capable of preventing the enlargement of the whole rotary-operation preventive mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: An interlocking mechanism 4 has a rotor-rotation control section 44A and a cam section 45 on its outer peripheral surface, a rotor 4A rotated by the rotary operation of an operation knob 3 and an engaging section 40B capable of being engaged with the rotor-rotation control section 44A. The interlocking mechanism 4 contains a stopper 4B capable of being rotated between a rotor-rotation control position P1 and a rotor-rotation allowable position P2, and a solenoid 4C with a plunger 41C forward moved and retracted between two positions controlling a rotation to the reverse side to the rotor of the stopper 4B. The interlocking mechanism 4 further contains an avoidance lifter 4D being engaged with the cam section 45 under the nonconductive state of the solenoid 4C and avoiding the stopper 4B from the rotor-rotation control position P1 to the rotor-rotation allowable position P2. The stopper 4B is arranged between the rotor 4A and the avoidance lifter 4D, and a resiliency to the rotor 4A and the reverse side is imparted at all times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
