PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal for a free access floor allowing very large and heavy facility to be installed in an upper part and facilitating its installation and construction. SOLUTION: In this pedestal for the free access floor, a bar bolt 26 and a round pipe 24 used as support columns are provided on a lower frame 9. The bar bolt 26 is inserted into the steel round pipe 24. An upper frame 27 is provided above the bar bolt 26 and the round pipe 24. An upper plate 35 is provided on the upper frame 27.
