PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical X-ray imaging system, which includes an X-ray detection part having two kinds of imaging means so constructed as to prevent a removed holder part from hindering a patient or the like after one of the imaging means is removed. SOLUTION: The medical X-ray imaging system includes an X-ray emitting means 2 to emit an X-ray to an object O, the X-ray detection means 1 to detect X-ray transmitted through the object O, and a rotating means 3 to rotate the X-ray emitting means 2 and the X-ray detection means 1 opposedly. The X-ray detection means 1 includes a first sensor part 10, a second sensor part 11, a first holder part 20 to hold the first sensor part 10, a second holder part 21 to hold the second sensor part 11, a detachment/attachment means to detachably attach the first sensor part 10 to the first holder part 20, and a storage means 13 to store the first holder part 20 in the second holder part 21 when the first sensor part 10 is removed from the first holder part 20.
