<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with multiple kinds of electronic money settlement without declaring the kind of electronic money used in the settlement. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic money processor reads and writes information with respect to an electronic money medium held on a medium holding unit.
