The installation has independent and identical closed loop circuits arranged for displacing cabins (C). The circuits have traction ropes (135, 145) arranged in closed loop parallel to up lines (131, 141) and down lines (132, 142), and parallel to upper and lower connecting sections, respectively, where the lines are arranged in helical shape. The ropes assure unidirectional driving of the cabins. Slowing areas (137, 147) slowdown the cabins, and are arranged along the lower connecting sections. The areas are equipped with boarding/landing places for boarding/landing passengers in the cabins.
