<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which does not impart unexpected inconveniences to a user even when a time required for completing a printing job is longer than usual because of a speed drop in data writing to a memory such as a hard disk device and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The data writing speed of a hard disk device 19 decreases outside of a range of a reference temperature (for instance, at a low temperature). Upon job input or during job execution, a CPU 32 obtains an internal temperature of the hard disk device 19 by a SMART function or the like, and when the temperature is outside of a range of the reference temperature, the CPU 32 calculates a termination prediction time when the printing job is executed at a decreased data writing speed, and displays it on an operating display part 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
