OPTICAL PICK UP SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPENSATING OPTICAL OUTPUT

An optical pickup system and an optical power compensation method are provided to maintain light outputted to optical recording media through an objective lens regularly by reflecting light amount change according to aberration correction by compensating for thrust sensitivity of a monitoring light detector. An optical pickup system comprises: an optical pick-up(100) which possessively corrects aberration; and an optical output controller(250) controlling the light quantity irradiated in optical recording media. The optical pick-up comprises: an optical source part having one or more light sources; an optical diverging unit diverging the light emitted in the optical source part into first light and second light; a monitoring light detector detecting the diverged first light; an aberration correction optical system which possessively corrects the aberration generated when irradiating the second light to the optical recording media; and an objective lens(160) irradiating the second light passing through the aberration correction optical system in the optical recording media.
