The invention relates to heat engines in which heat energy is converted to useful work. Disclosed is a method of engine operation in which one uses water as working body, and at least before inlet of working medium it is heated through at least one working surface of cylinder or piston to temperature that exceeds at least temperature of phase transition of working medium from liquid to gaseous state. The engine claimed is characterized by that at least basis of cylinder or piston, or all together, are made inside with cavities that are provided with low-melting substance with high heat absorption ability at phase transition of low-melting substance from solid to liquid state, at that at least basis of cylinder or piston, or all together are provided with means for heating low-melting substance from external source of energy. |
