A door handle device with a rotational operation mechanism is provided to simplify the configuration of the door handle device by setting a door latch to the rotational direction and setting the opening direction of a door to the pulling direction. A door handle device with a rotational operation mechanism is composed of a housing(10) installed at a door, a handle(20) having a lever(22) for releasing a door latch, and a return spring(30) installed between the housing and the handle. The handle is installed to be axis-rotatable, and the return spring provides the restitution force of the rotational direction to the handle.
