PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas combustion type driving tool having improved operability during corner driving in a narrow site while maintaining the basic arrangement structure of a combustion chamber 4 and securing the predetermined capacity thereof. SOLUTION: In the gas combustion type driving tool, a cylinder head part is provided on the upper side of a stroke cylinder 8 slidably storing a stroke piston 9, and a cylindrical movable sleeve 20 is arranged between the stroke cylinder 8 and the cylinder head part. The combustion chamber 4 formed inside the movable sleeve 20 is opened/closed with the operation of the movable sleeve 20, where mixture gas is ignited and combusted in the closed condition and it is exhausted and sucked in the opened condition.
