PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device, neatly stacking, on a delivery tray, a larger number of pieces of recorded material after execution of recording, without increase in the size of the recording device while preventing a delivery failure such as jamming. SOLUTION: A coil spring 33 is connected to a spring support part 34 of which one end side is connected to the delivery tray 3 and the other end side is fixed to a printer body 1. The delivery tray 3 opened is in a stationary state at a displacement position where the delivery tray's own weight is balanced with a spring force of the coil spring 33. When the recording paper sheets P are stacked on a stacking face 31, the delivery tray 3 opened is displaced in a direction separated from a delivery port 7 of a recording paper sheet P by a displacement amount according to an amount of the stacked recording paper sheets P.
