<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that different regulators are required to design to different kinds of uses since a large proportional band gain worsens stability because of a drop in pressure and a small proportional gain worsens precision. <P>SOLUTION: The shape of a concave part 416 is formed so that the wall of the concave part 416, which contacts a convex part 414, may not be at the right angle to the axis in the length direction of a valve rod 412. Force perpendicularly added to the axis in the length direction of the valve rod 412 applies a load in the side direction in opposite to a valve guide 418 to increase the frictional force between the valve rod 412 and the valve guide 418. The increase of the frictional force functions to substantially minimize or delete the vibration of the valve rod 412 in a control point, first end part connected to the valve rod, and valve body 411 connected to a diaphragm.
