NON-HALOGEN TYPE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION USING POLYMER LAYERED SILICATE NANOCOMPOSITES FOR COVERLAY FILM

A non-halogen type nanocomposite adhesive composition for a coverlay film is provided to ensure dhesive property, soldering heat resistance, moisture resistance, shelf life and junction workability and to be environment-friendly by not using a halogen-based flame retardant. A non-halogen type adhesive composition for a coverlay film containing a laminate consisting of an insulation film, adhesive and release film comprises (a) a rubber mixture containing a carboxyl group; (b) non-halogen type epoxy resin; (c) nanosilicate substituted with reactive organic onium; (d) hardener; and (e) curing accelerator. The nanosilicate substituted with the reactive organic onium is the nanosilicate substituted with N,N-dimethyl-ene-hexadecyl-(p-vinylbenzyl) ammonium chloride.
