A method of access in the extensive cystic lesion of the right lobe of liver comprises laparotomy, thoracotomy with diaphragmotomy. First, the anterior abdominal wall is cut starting from the median line by 3- below in parallel to the right costal arch till the anterior edge of rib X. Upon separation of the skin over the thorax, thoracotomy follows on intercostal VIII with diaphragmotomy. |
