<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic crawler having improved mountability to a vehicle, and to provide a method for manufacturing the elastic crawler. <P>SOLUTION: Masking treatment is given to an outer peripheral surface 80A of a shaft 80 of each core metal 70 which constitutes a core metal group 50. Namely, adhesive is not applied to the outer peripheral surface 80A of the shaft 80.
