PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating abnormal unit cell of solid oxide fuel cell and an installation method thereof are provided to minimize degradation of total performance without removing defective unit batteries from the laminate structure. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating abnormal unit cell of solid oxide fuel cell comprises a cut-off part(301) which is installed in manifold(340) between an upper separator(310) and a lower separator(320) of a defective unit battery, and secludes fuel supply to the defective unit battery and a contact part(302) which is formed and in contact by being extended to outer periphery and inserted between the upper separators and the lower separators. The cut-off part and the contact part has a multi-division structure which is divided into more than two unit division devices.
