<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas tank that satisfactorily discharges gas permeating a liner while maintaining strength of a fiber-reinforced layer. <P>SOLUTION: The gas tank 2 includes: the liner 10, ferrules 11, 12 provided in the liner 10; and the fiber-reinforced resin layer 13 covering an outer circumferential surface of the liner 10 and the ferrules 11, 12. A pile layer 20 including a plurality of piles 30 is provided between the liner 10 and the ferrules 11, 12 and the fiber-reinforced resin layer 13. The pile layer 20 communicates with outside the gas tank 2 from between the ferrules 11, 12 and the fiber-reinforced resin layer 13.
