PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a player not ranked high in scores with meaning in continuously participating in games.SOLUTION: A game server (20) provides a second game after the rankings of players are determined based on a result of a first game in which a plurality of players participate. The game server (20) includes: an assigning part (252) for assigning different first options among a plurality of first options to a prescribed number of upper-level players in the rankings of the first game; a lower-level player participation receiving part (254) for receiving participation in the second game by selecting any one of the plurality of first options for lower-level players other than the prescribed number of upper-level players; a determination part (260) for determining options including the plurality of first options; and a benefit providing part (261) for providing a benefit for a player having selected the first option determined by the determination part (260).
