PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate detection of a vehicle lamplight, even if a fast-sampling camera is not used.SOLUTION: In an image analysis device, an image of a host-vehicle front area common to a right camera and a left camera is taken with the control of a stereo camera, and image data (right image data and left image data) expressing the taken image is generated. In this processing, the exposure timing for the right camera and that for the left camera are controlled such that the exposure timing for the left camera is shifted from the exposure timing for the right camera, and image data (right image data and left image data) having a difference in exposure timing is obtained. Vehicle light candidates are extracted on the basis of one of these image data items (S230). Then, the right image data and the left image data are compared to detect a blinking light source, the detected blinking light source is excluded from the extracted in vehicle light candidates in S230, and finally, a light source left as a vehicle light candidate is detected as a vehicle light (S250). |
