Provided is an x-ray photography system whereby shortening of task time when adjusting an initial value is possible. An x-ray system of an embodiment comprises an x-ray tube control unit, an initial value computation unit, and a storage unit. The x-ray tube control unit controls a filament current which flows through an x-ray tube filament such that a tube current which fluctuates at activation flows stably at a desired value. The initial value computation unit derives an initial value of the filament current which will be used at the next activation, on the basis of a stable value of the filament current when the tube current flows stably and a photographic condition at said time. The storage unit stores a photographic history including the derived initial value, the photographic condition, and the date photographed. |
