METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ASSOCIATING REPORTS

The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for associating reports, and relates to the field of radio communications, which are used to solve the problem in the prior art that an analysis and location result is not precise enough because information of an RLF report and an MDT measurement report of a UE cannot be fully applied in analysis and location of a radio link problem on a network. The method for associating reports includes: sending, by a base station, to a UE that executes an MDT job an identifier allocated to the UE; receiving, by the base station, an RLF report of the UE, where the RLF report includes the identifier; and associating, by the base station, the RLF report of the UE with an MDT measurement report that includes the identifier.

sending, by a base station, to a user equipment (UE) that executes a minimized drive test (MDT) job an identifier allocated to the UE; receiving, by the base station, a radio link failure (RLF) report of the UE, wherein the RLF report includes the identifier; and associating, by the base station, the RLF report of the UE with an MDT measurement report that includes the identifier.
