PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a case of manufacturing a sheave main body part by casting, since casting skin shall be removed by applying cutting processing to the outer peripheral surface before sticking rubber etc. because of existence of roughness due to casting skin on the outer peripheral surface, the number of processing processes becomes large, and the mass becomes large because the minimum thickness is required for casting.SOLUTION: In a hand rail drive device for a passenger conveyor which comprises an endless-state hand rail provided at a railing part of the passenger conveyor, a sheave for drive-traveling the hand rail by friction force of a hand rail winding part, and a pressing part for pressing the hand rail to the sheave, as the sheave part, formed are a discoid disc part which a sheave flange formed by applying bending processing to circular edge parts of plural metal plate members is fitted to for fixing by combination of rivets and screws, and a cylindrical hand rail winding part, and a friction member is fitted to the cylindrical surface of the cylindrical hand rail winding part. |
