PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating applicator of a process liquid which uses rollers and inhibits wear in ranges of the rollers which contact with a paper end part in a simple method.SOLUTION: A coating applicator includes: transport means which transports a recording medium; coating rollers 338, 348 which follow the recording medium being transported and apply a process liquid to the recording medium; pressure rollers 339, 349 which sandwich the recording medium with the coating rollers; and swing means 11 which swings positions of the coating rollers in a width direction of the recording medium during printing. |
