<p>The moveable furniture (1) has an electrical drive unit (7) for moving the piece of furniture. A manually operable switch unit (11) is associated with the piece of furniture, and is provided with the control surfaces (12,13) which are arranged in parallel to each other. An activation or operation of the drive unit is performed by a simultaneous actuation of the control surfaces to generate a control signal for the movement of the furniture depending on the difference values of the pressure (17,18) on the control surfaces.</p> |
