<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring method and system capable of constantly monitoring a dripping state of an odorant to be dripped on gas passing through a sight glass into a gas tube, by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An optical fiber unit 15 constituting a fiber sensor 10 provided in a monitoring system of a dripping state of a gas odorant includes: an optical fiber 16 extending from an amplifier unit 20; and a sensor part 17 by an optical sensor fitted to the tip end thereof. The optical fiber unit 15 is disposed inside an explosion-proof area. However, the amplifier unit 20 is provided at a non-explosion-proof area, namely, outside the explosion-proof area. The optical fiber 16 is extended from the amplifier unit 20 to the explosion-proof area, so that the optical fiber unit 15 can be disposed inside the explosion-proof area.</p> |
