PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage control device that can reduce a time required for restoration of data after any of storage devices used for a storage region is replaced without causing unconformity in any data of every storage region.SOLUTION: A storage control device 1A comprises: object storage means that stores a setting value in association with a plurality of divided blocks in a volume constructed by adopting a plurality of storage devices 20; and rebuild means that, when the setting value associated with each of the blocks matches to a prescribed condition in responce to replacement of an object storage device of the plurality of storage devices 20 with a replacement storage device, performs rebuilding to store data stored in the storage region used for the block of the object storage device in a storage region used for the block of the replacement storage device, and when the setting value associated with the block does not match to the prescribed condition, initialize a record region used for the block of the plurality of storage devices to an unused state. |
