摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device which enables warming-up even if an SOC is high.SOLUTION: When it is determined that heating is requested, if a main battery 15 has an extra charging capacity, a hybrid control device 50 sets an SOC upper limit value at a raised upper limit value C11 larger than a normal upper limit value C10 and switches the operation condition of an engine 10 into an efficiency priority mode in which a high priority is given to the efficiency of the engine 10. If the main battery 15 has no extra charging capacity, the hybrid control device 50 sets the SOC upper limit value at the normal upper limit value C10 and switches the operation condition of the engine 10 into an exhaust heat priority mode which is less efficient than the efficiency priority mode. As a result, even if an SOC is high, and the main battery 15 has no extra charging capacity, the engine 10 and the main battery 15 can be warmed up.
