摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cage for a thrust needle bearing which can reduce the deformation of a pocket caused by the throttle of a material even if a flange part is formed by performing a dent and bend a plurality of times.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a cage for a thrust needle bearing is composed of: a first process which forms a roller holding part (8) and an inside-diameter side flange part (3) by bending a plate material; a second process which is a post-process of the first process, contacts with a portion located at an inside diameter side rather than a point in which the plate material is bent, and forms a reinforcing flange part (10) by bending an outside-diameter side end face (13) of the plate material by an angle of 180° with respect to an outside diameter direction of the plate material; a third process which is a post-process of the second process, and punch-forms a pocket part (6); and a fourth process which is a post-process of the third process, and forms an outside-diameter side flange part (4) by bending the plate material at an inside-diameter side rather than a contour side end face (9) of the pocket part (6).
