<p>The present invention provides an automatic landing system and a method using images taken by a camera installed on a spreader in a container loading device to pick up a container. The automatic landing system allows the stable loading and pickup of containers against offset toward a skew, a gantry, and a trolley caused by the poor alignment between the spreader or a container picked up by the spreader and a lower container or a container loading position indicator in the yard by calculating the error value and adjusting the position. In addition to this, the automatic landing system prevents a collision between the spreader or the container picked up by the spreader and surrounding containers caused by the poor alignment between the lower container and the surrounding containers.</p> |
