An operation system (1) is configured by connecting each of a display device (3) and a touch pad (20) to a navigation device (2). A controller (4) of the navigation device is configured so that, when coordinate determination is notified from an operation signal output device (25) of the touch pad, the controller determines, on the basis of the speed of touch position movement from touch-on to touch-off, whether the flick operation is a depression operation. The speed of movement is calculated from the amount of touch position movement from touch-on to touch-off and the time required for the movement, and the operation performed is determined to be a flick operation when the speed of movement is greater than or equal to a threshold, and is determined to be a depression operation when the speed of movement is less than the threshold. |
