<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance correction device and a balance correction method for performing balance adjustment of a rotor with high accuracy upon attaining improvement of workability and shortening of work time in the balance adjustment of the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A balance correction device 1 correcting balance of a simple rotor T includes: a rotor support part 2 which supports the simple rotor T along which a rotation axis CL is made to follow in the vertical direction; a gas supply part 3 which supplies a high pressure air to the rotor support part 2 to rotate the simple rotor T supported by the rotor support part 2 in a floating state; a balance measurement part 4 which measures the balance of the rotating simple rotor T; two laser heads 5, 5 which irradiate the rotating simple rotor T with a laser L; and a control part 6 which irradiates excess parts BP, DP of a boss part TB of the simple rotor T and an exhaust side rotor TD, which generate imbalance, with the laser L like a pulse by operating the laser heads 5, 5 to be removed based on a measurement result from the balance measurement part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
