A light emitting diode (LED) driving apparatus, comprising: an LED driving module configured to provide a first driving voltage having a voltage value changing over time, a minimum voltage value of Vf1 or less, and a maximum voltage value of Vfn or greater; and an LED light emitting module comprising a first LED group and a second LED group to an n-th LED group, and configured to receive the first driving voltage from the LED driving module, n being an integer of at least two, wherein: the LED driving module is configured to drive the LED light emitting module so that the first LED group is turned on when the first driving voltage is Vf1 or greater, drive the LED light emitting module so that the first LED group and the second LED group are connected in series with each other and are turned on when the first driving voltage is Vf2 or greater, and drive the LED light emitting module so that the first LED group to the n-th LED group are connected in series with each other and are all turned on when the first driving voltage is Vfn or greater, Vf1<Vf2<Vfn; and the LED driving apparatus comprises a second driving voltage providing module configured to store a portion of the first driving voltage and selectively provide a second driving voltage to the remaining LED groups except for at least the first LED group of the LED groups, when the first driving voltage is at least Vf1 or less.
