[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to reduce the unevenness of the pressure drop of a liquid supplied to a discharge hole. [Solution] This liquid discharge head (2) is provided with: a first duct member (4) having a plurality of discharge holes (8), a plurality of compression chambers (10), a plurality of first shared supply ducts (20), and a plurality of first shared retrieval ducts (24), the first shared supply ducts (20) and first shared retrieval ducts (24) are longer in a first direction (D1), and a plurality of same are provided in a second direction (D2); a second duct member (6) having a second shared supply duct (22) and a second shared retrieval duct (26); and a plurality of compression units (10) that respectively compress the liquid within the plurality of compression chambers (10). The second duct member (6) is provided on the first duct member (4), the first duct member (4) and second duct member (6) are longer in the second direction (D2), and the second shared supply duct (22) and second shared retrieval duct (26) are also longer in the second direction (D2), and so it is possible to reduce unevenness of the pressure drop arising at the plurality of compression chambers (10) without increasing the size of the liquid discharge head (2) in the planar direction. |
