<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable game device with a touch panel-type display with which a game player can correctly position an object without the display or selection of the object being obstructed by a finger.SOLUTION: A portable game device including a touch panel-type display comprises: means for determining an object display position such that an object is apart from a finger by a predetermined distance and the object and the finger are spaced out; means for determining the object display position and for displaying the object at a position always keeping its relative positional relationship with the finger as the position of the finger changes; a determination unit for determining that the player has selected a displayed character when the displayed object and the displayed character come into contact with each other on the display; means for changing the display state of the selected character on the display; means for raising the transparency of the picture of the character determined to have been selected, to display the picture in a translucent state; and means for performing display control such that the character in the translucent display state is moved on the field, the position of the character on the field during move can be recognized through the translucent picture of the character.</p> |
