PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rod-shaped lighting device having uniform illuminance distribution in the main scanning direction and sub-scanning direction.SOLUTION: A lighting device including a rod-shaped light guide 3 further includes a light emission region extending to a part of the side face and emitting the light, entering from a light incident surface 3a, to the outside, a main scanning reflection pattern surface 4 extending to the side face while facing the light emission region and diffusing and reflecting the light in the long axis direction of the light guide 3, and a sub-scanning reflection pattern 13 for diffusing and reflecting the light in a direction perpendicular to the long axis direction, only in the vicinity of the light incident surface 3a of the side face excepting the main scanning reflection pattern surface 4. |
