FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: system comprises a group of radiosonic buoys located on the water surface, connected by radio channels to a monitoring station and by hydroacoustic channels to an underwater object. Each of the buoys of the group has a receiver for receiving external navigation system signals, which enables to determine current coordinates of its location and generate time stamps of the on-board time scale in accordance with the time scale of the external navigation system, a hydroacoustic apparatus which enables to receive information-bearing hydroacoustic signals from the underwater object, as well as means which enable to determine delays in propagation of the received information-bearing hydroacoustic signals, and means for radio communication with the monitoring station, which enable to transmit to said station data on said delays and data on the current location of the buoy. The monitoring station includes means which enable to determine coordinates of the underwater object based on the data on propagation delays of the information-bearing hydroacoustic signals and data on the current location of buoys. Unlike the prototype, each of the buoys of the group is configured to operate in active drive mode in the group, wherein its hydroacoustic apparatus emits to the underwater object a hydroacoustic interrogation signal which is common for the entire group, and the apparatus of the underwater object is configured to receive the hydroacoustic interrogation signal and re-emit said signal to all buoys of the group.EFFECT: designing a system for determining and monitoring the location of an underwater object, characterised by saving battery life of the buoys and absence at the underwater object of time scale generating means, synchronised with the single scale of the group of buoys.2 dwg |
