The present invention relates to a polycrystalline diamond compact. Particularly, the polycrystalline diamond compact, according to the present invention, comprises: a cemented carbide layer; a polycrystalline diamond sintered part formed at only a region including at least one portion among edge parts of the cemented carbide layer; and a chip breaker formed in a groove shape at the inner side thereof with respect to the upper surface of the cemented carbide layer and the polycrystalline diamond sintered part, so as to cut up chips, generated during machining, into small chips or wind the chips into a spring form. According to the present invention, the flowability of the chips, that is, cut pieces generated during a cutting process, is improved, thereby increasing the efficiency of the cutting process. A polycrystalline diamond sintered body is provided at only the edge part directly related to the cutting process, and a part at which the chip breaker is formed is formed by using cemented carbide metal or other materials such that machinability and manufacturability are improved. |
