BONE CLEANER WITH SHAVING BLOCK AND AGITATOR THAT URGES THE BONE TOWARDS THE SHAVING BLOCK

An assembly for cleaning bone stock includes a shell and a cleaning element movably mounted therein or thereto. A shaving block mounted in or to the shell has at least one cutting edge disposed in a shell void space. The cleaning element is a fluted screw rotatably mounted to the shell adjacent the shaving block cutting edge. Flutes thereof rotate adjacent the cutting edge. An agitator is moveably mounted in the void space, which has a surface that is moved towards and away from said fluted screw and the cutting edge. Rotary power is transferred to said fluted screw for rotating the same relative to the shaving block cutting edge as well as to said agitator for moving said agitator within the shell void space with its surface towards and away from said fluted screw and the cutting edge, resulting in said agitator urging bone stock towards said fluted screw and said shaving block.
